Michael Jones, more commonly known by his stage name, Wax, was born on April 5th, 1980, in Washington, D.C. He is a musician, rapper, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer who became a YouTube star after uploading several videos of himself rapping and singing. He is widely recognized for his popular 2012 re-released single, "Rosana", which has been viewed over 35 million times on YouTube. Wax currently resides in Los Angeles, California. Wax has collaborated with Ray William Johnson and his cartoon band, Your Favorite Martian, on the songs "Stalkin' Your Mom", the "Orphan Tears" trilogy, and many more songs since the band's revival in 2022. He also collaborated with George Watsky on, "Kick Monday (In the Nutsack)" and "Give a Hater a Hug".
He assisted in writing Donald Trump vs Hillary Clinton.
Alongside Zach Sherwin, Timothy DeLaGhetto, George Watsky, Key & Peele, DeStorm Power, Rhett & Link, Kimmy Gatewood, and Dan Bull, he is one of the guest stars to have a rapping role in more than one season.
