1 year on the wiki!
On June 22, 2015, I joined the wiki. It is now June 22, 2016. Therefore, there has been one year with padsquad2010. I know people like to do this personal thanking stuff, but I've been too inconsistently online here to have anything particularly personal to say. Everyone at least seems to have reacted positively or neutrally to my presence, so thanks for that. I don't really know what else to put, so I'll end this blog now.
yay.
The ERB Wiki Hall of Fame
We're going through the fourth year that the hall of fame has been operating. We've had three elections, and up to this point, no one has taken the time to actually put the hall all in one spot to be annually updated when new inductees join. Last year, we saw someone inducted who had already been inducted (Steeler), and that defeats the point of annual inductions. So, I've taken it upon myself to assemble this collection of great users on the wiki who have made greatly important, memorable, sometimes historic, occasionally minimal contributions. I know I don't fall under this banner, but these users have proven that they do. These users may not all remain, but their contributions will forever be valued. As a generic user, I formally open t…
Clay Kirby and Steve Arlin vs. Chris Young and Mat Latos - San Diego Padres Rap Battles of History no. 2
So, here's my third battle I've written. This one for the Padres series features two duos of pitchers who almost got a no-hitter for the Padres. The original Padres from the first season in 1969, Clay Kirby and Steve Arlin face off against more recent near no-hitter accomplishers, Chris Young and Mat Latos

Kirby and Arlin:
We're the originals! Winning ballgames since 1969
We've thrown the closest things to no-hitters in our short time
My first pitch was to Willie Mays, a hall of fame talent.
Young, you just pick fights with Derrek Lee, your real tests were absent.
You c…
Generic Rap Battles of History - Dmitri Mendeleyev vs. Melvil Dewey
2nd battle I've made. This suggestion came about the day I joined chat for the first time. I loved it. Now I've made it my own. It features periodic table developer Dmitri Mendeleyev, and Dewey Decimal System developer Melvil Dewey. Hopefully, this is a. better than the last one, and b. more entertaining.

Mendeleyev:
No more quiet in this library, it's reacting with combustion.
My work explains the universe. I'm the elemental Russian.
Don't you know that books and words are inconsistent with the ages
Chemicals are uniform, the same on all the pages.
Your system is closed-minded, with no room for new thought.
Mine has told of new substances and connected every dot.

San Diego Padres Rap Battles of History no. 1 - Bruce Bochy vs. Dick Williams
So this is my first ever fanmade rap battle. I intend on releasing 12 battles for the first season. My first one is Bruce Bochy vs. Dick Williams. There is a rap meanings page, because many of you probably have no clue what I'm talking about. Some basic information on the rappers is located at the bottom of the post. I have hints on my profile page for the next 11. I'm really excited to show you my work! Enjoy.
Bochy:
I am the shining example of Padres playoff glory.
I won the division 5 times, along with the entire franchise history
I managed mediocre teams into baseball’s record books,
Meanwhile your teams were loaded up with Gwynn, Gossage and Garvey.
I used my scouting skills to track down talent,
Now my great find Hoffman’s going in the Hal…
