Information on the location

The Joy of Painting was an American educational television show from the Public Broadcasting Service. It was hosted by painter and instructor Bob Ross. The show ran from January 11, 1983 to May 17, 1994. In each episode, Ross shared his techniques for creating landscape oil paintings. The background was black, showing nothing but Bob and his canvas. At the beginning of each episode, Bob explained how he set up his easel, and all of the required colors for that episode's painting were shown on the bottom of the screen. Bob often slapped the bristles of paintbrushes against the poles of his easels after washing them, and he would often say "beat the devil out of it." He would often sign his name onto each painting after finishing them. Bob's son, Steve, also appeared on the show at times.

Appearance in the rap battle

Bob Ross vs Pablo Picasso:

This was the location where Bob Ross rapped before he painted himself into the painting during his first verse, similar to the opening segments in the real show. He then spent the rest of the battle in the painting.

Nice Peter vs EpicLLOYD 2:

Nice Peter rapped in the painting during the line "You’re an eight-year-old boy stuck inside a whatever-year-old man!"

Trivia

  • It was shown that Ross was still on The Joy of Painting, but had been painted into the painting itself during Pablo Picasso's second verse.
  • The Joy of Painting can be found on Channel 37 on Picasso's television set, which corresponds to the number of the battle.
