Appearance in the rap battle
This is where Harry Houdini raps during his second verse, as well as the remainder of the battle, and where a police officer made a cameo. Houdini was lifted on a crane in front of a crowd, referencing his famous publicity stunt in which he was lifted high into the air from his ankles using a crane and escaped from a straightjacket. Several skyscrapers and other buildings can be seen in the background.
- New York City is where the Statue of Liberty is located. Coincidentally, David Copperfield, Houdini's opponent, made the Statue of Liberty disappear as a public trick, which became one of his most famous illusions. This was also referenced in the battle.
