Gotham City is where both Batman and Robin rapped in Batman vs Sherlock Holmes, EpicLLOYD briefly rapped in Nice Peter vs EpicLLOYD 2, and the Joker rapped in The Joker vs Pennywise.

Information on the location

Gotham City is a fictional American city based off the sprawling metropolis New York City, appearing in comic books published by DC Comics, best known as the home of Batman. Batman's place of residence was first identified as Gotham City in Batman #4 (Winter 1940). New York Times journalist William Safire described Gotham City as "New York below 14th Street, from SoHo to Greenwich Village, the Bowery, Little Italy, Chinatown, and the sinister areas around the base of the Manhattan Bridge and Brooklyn Bridges". Over the years, the city has been terrorized by villains such as the Joker, the Penguin, Poison Ivy, the Riddler, Scarecrow, Mr. Freeze, and more. Gotham is arguably one of the most well-known fictional cities of all time.

Appearance in the rap battle

Batman vs Sherlock Holmes:

This is the location where Batman and Robin rapped. In the beginning of the battle, Batman rapped on the rooftop of a Gotham City skyscraper. At the end of his first verse, he glided down to the street below. Robin also rapped in a similar manner by starting from the rooftop, quickly descending down the side of the building from a rope, and finally dropping below to the streets halfway through.

Nice Peter vs EpicLLOYD 2:

This is where EpicLLOYD raps part of his verse in front of the building-side background of Gotham starting from the line, "And then I try to tell you things, but you're too stubborn to understand." It later changes to Menlo Park.

The Joker vs Pennywise:

This is where the Joker rapped parts of his verse throughout the battle. The comic panels showcase parts of the city, including Arkham Asylum, the sewerage system, and two differents look of the city. The first is similar to the more modern, metropolitan look from Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy, while the second is similar to the grimy, more worn down version from the Arkham video game series.
