Information on the location

The Delaware River is a major river on the Atlantic coast of the United States. It goes on for 14,119 square miles (36,570 km2) through five U.S. states—New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware. This location is where George Washington made his famous crossing of the Delaware River on December 25th, 1776, during the American Revolutionary War. This battle became known as the Battle of Trenton.
